Regarding the price of BOOX E Ink tablets and eReaders, most of the users will use a case to protect their device but will probably get confused when facing the three kinds of protective covers.
We’re going to compare them and help you decide which is best for you to buy.
Choose A Protective Case by Device Model
Before diving into the comparison section, we want to help you identify your protective case based on your device model.
- Note and Nova series users can buy any of the three types of cases.

We released this type of protective cover in grey color a while ago for Nova2 and Nova Pro, and a similar model for Max3 and Note2/Note Pro/Note as well. The most significant difference between this case and the ultrathin one is the material and texture.
For Note and Nova cases, both the front lid and back shell of this case feel and look like cloth and thus present a low-key style. When you’re holding it, your fingertips will get more fraction, helping you grip a BOOX device better. For Max3 cases, the TPU back case can provide a more elastic feeling to your fingers. We provide Poke2, Nova series and Note series users with an adhesive protective case with compact design. It can fit your device perfectly by sticking to it with two 3M adhesive strips on the back case.
This protective case consists of a soft front lid and a smooth back cover made of fine PU. The magnetic contact point in the front flip keeps the cover closed when it’s not in use.
